Learn more about the Olympic Sport of Triathlon!
Fun, Camaraderie and Solid Instruction
Alive with MissionMe!® Clinic and After School MultiSport Program is a comprehensive program in clinic or camp format designed to help the young athlete experience the sport of triathlon. Rather than emphasizing competition at this age, kids, parents and coaches should focus on enjoyment and on learning proper skills and healthy exercise habits that will last a lifetime. Participants will learn how swimming, biking and running are combined to make the sport of triathlon. Participants will learn what equipment is needed, how to apply skills, the best technique, and strategies to successfully compete in a youth triathlon. In addition, mini-lecture topics include: Youth Sport-Specific Nutrition; Injury Prevention; Endurance Swim Technique; Training Guidelines; Safety; Equipment Demos; and, more. Parents learn how to motivate, support and guide their children through this endeavor. The AMM Youth MultiSport Clinic/After School Program is governed by the rules and standards set forth by USA Triathlon, the national governing body of the Olympic Sport of Triathlon.
Alive with MissionMe!® is an Approved Educational Provider for Illinois State Board of Education and USA Triathlon, the national governing body for the Olympic Sport of Triathlon.
